Re: [T3] First time timing

RossO'S=> I have a timing light,

Sorry, I got confused what with filing new marks into the pulley and
all. I gather yours lacks advance compensation.

=> Steven says to go with TDC and hoses off,

.. just passing on the wisdom of Muir, GASS and Scientific. I claim no
direct experience with late-model T3s.

+> the engine number starts with T07

You have a '67 case.

JimA=> all the T3 clamps I have seen have a standard hex nut here with a
=> long spacer sleeve under it.

Dangit, Jim, you got me again! I've been fooling with my (T4) camper so
much lately I got the parts mixed up. My apologies, everyone. (Thinks: I
wonder whether anyone has thought about making T4-style clamps for the
T3? They're ever so much easier to use.)

Incidentally, volks, I drove my Ghia home from the shop this evening
with new engine version 2. We're back on the road at long last, after
blowing version 1 on the way to the Classic.
