Although not original, you can buy the clips used for american car trim and
modify them a bit for the VW rocker trim...as Nico mentioned, though, the
trim clips are listed in the WCM catalog.

Ok, but seriously, I think West Coast Metric has them. And I think they
were
less than a buck each too.
I guess I'll be trying to get some of those pretty soon too.
Seems pretty pricey to spend a couple of bucks on a single clip when you
need 10 or 20 of them...hmmm anybody good at bending paperclips? ;)
Toby's idea of dechroming is starting to look pretty good right about now!
