David, Welcome to Type 3 Land. Glad to have someone in the *area*(Charlotte). I live in Northeast Tennessee near Bristol of NASCAR fame. I do have the window parts you are asking about. I salvaged a '69 Squareback & got both complete doors with windows. When I first got my FB last summer, the windows acted the same as you describe yours. Try spraying some WD-40 in the channels & see if that helps if not let me know if you want the windows from the '69 SB.
