[T3] Discrimination (Pressurized vs. suction fuel systems revisited)

For any of us that think we are not discriminatory, I would like to suggest
that everyone is capable of being a VW bigot. Personally, I cringe every
time I try to drive a VW that has a red oil pressure light. Green is for
me. How many cars do you know of that give you the pleasure of looking down
at beautifully matched red (generator) and green lights every time you
start the beast? It's like having a little bit of Christmas every day of
the year.

For those of you with red oil lights, I have a remedy. Go to the back of
your car. Open the decklid. Open the engine compartment cover and latch it
to the gutter if you are lucky enough to still have your hanger strap.
Disconnect your oil pressure light switch wire and tape it to keep it from
grounding. While this won't give you a green oil light, at least it will
keep you from having to stare at a red one, and the absence of light
eminating from your former red light zone will remind you that you have
done a good thing.
