Yep, I agree wholeheartedly. My most common failure is myself! Usually what goes is the 'experimental' fix, or the quick-and-dirty job. You know, where you couldn't find just the right part, and so 'made' something else do? Where you worked around a stuck bolt instead of taking the time to free it?
