----Original Message----- From: Philip Dillard <dillardp@edu-suu-lifac.li.suu.edu> >From your astute observation, personal experience, or arcane divination, what do you think are the "little things" that, because they are ignored or overlooked, are most likely to cause problems on the road? >Phil In my experiences I've found that the wiring connections, grounds and power, can give the most grief at the most inopportune times. I perform a tune-up on the whole car, once a year, and through out rest of the year constantly check, clean, tighten, replace connections, and parts, of all types; electrical and mechanical I believe 85 percent of the any vehicle maintenance is corrosion prevention, in fact I tell many of the younger generation, looking to get into older auto's, that they really need to be aware that these older cars require a lot of thourgh, constant love and attention, this is not of the sit-back admiration kind, but, hands-on. I also always carry a can of WD40 as it has become a necessity in troubleshooting and repair. IMHO of course. ....../// Rick Fluck \\\...... http://www.srv.net/~rfluck ..........Now that you've judged me, http://www.controlvisioninc.com ...just think what our diversity E-mail me back at: ................can do as a team. ......\\ rfluck@srv.net //......
