It's a very fiddly job, but I found it worth leaving off the inner scraper until close to the end of the job, to give room for the vent-wing in the slot. You have to have the upper run channel pulled down at the top before putting in the vent-wing; put the vent-wing in tilted inwards (relative to the door) and slide forwards, ensuring the front frame corner holds the trim frame correctly in place, then fix in place. The upper channel can be finished now the vent-wing is in place. I've only tried this with original frames with replaced rubber scrapers; if the new (repro) frames are a poor fit, this won't help you much. Dave. I put in new window channel seal, had a lot of trouble with it. Does anyone have any tips on how to do it easily? I had a lot of trouble clearing the wiper strips and the stuff just didn't snap in straight. I had lots of trouble on the other end, trying to get the vent window in, too. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
