I'm sure someone on the list has original paint codes, but on my '71,
it was on a small, yellowed paper sticker up next to the jack area in
the trunk, on mine it looked something like "L31g" with the actual
paint color name in German.  You might want to take a look in there to
see if the tag's still hanging around. The code is all you need to
have the paint shop mix you up the right color.  Mine matched
perfectly with unoxidized paint in the trunk.
