If they get this message, maybe they could explain to both of us how this is done.......But yes, it's out of the car. I was getting frustrated because the speedo was working, but not the odo. I took it out of the car, took the back off and was playing with the gears. At first I noticed that the shaft would slide back and forth, so I put a little piece of metal on the end of the shaft. When that didn't work, and I noticed that the shaft was still in place, I started spinning the gears again. Then I noticed that the gear on the end seemed to spin all the other gears.......And then I noticed that the shaft was spinning independently of the gear. I couldn't see how to dissemble it any further without breaking a weld. And that's where I am now. I would appreciate it if anyone else has any input on this!!!!!!! Also, any idea the address where I can some sort of contribution (a few $) to this T3 org? Also, considering selling my '68 Squareback. The 2 kids and 2 '73 Squarebacks take up a good deal of my time, and I would like to see it go into good hands. That, however, depends on two friends of mine who MIGHT do me the honors
