Push with all your might and the window will pop out. Push at one corner. Have a friend outside to catch it, or do in on grass so it will fall where it won't break. DON'T DO THE WINDSHIELD THIS WAY. After you do one of these you can see how the headliner is tucked through the window opening and how you might have cut it with the razor blade. (And just imagine how unhappy you would have been when you discovered how much extra work you had just made for yourself.) > PS how likely is it that the glass installer will scratch my new paint > job reinstalling the four glass pieces and new rubber? 8-0 I think most glass installers are pretty understanding about this. I find that installing everything except windshields is a simple task if I just have the help of a friend. Next time I might even try the windshield myself, but I'm very glad I hired someone to watch the first time.
