[T3] Cash Wash

I just had Squareback painted.  It was a cheap paint job -- 300 bucks at One
Day Paint and Body in Glendale,  Los Angeles.  They actually did a pretty damn
good job.

I've washed my car once a week since I waxed it.  (I had to wait a month
before waxing it to allow the paint to cure).  I wash it with cold water, in
the shade, I chamois it dry.  Two questions:

1) Am I over washing my car?  Is it bad to wash it so frequently?

2) Should I wait a full six months before repolishing it?  It only has that
one coat I put on after it was painted.
