RE: [T3] fuel line replacement


I'm told 'we're' supposed to use the braided hose, as it lasts longer than
unbraided hose (in air-cooled systems).  That and maybe it's less likely to
really blow when it cracks?  I don't know anymore.  I've just been
xenophobically replacing all my unbraided hose like some zombie.  Somebody
told me once, and I've just been doing it since.

If I'm wrong, I apologise...

	Fuel line replacement is easy and yes you can use the 5/16 standard
as long as its rated for 60psi or
	more and it will fit fine.  I DONT like the original cloth covered
stuff though, with the cloth on
	the outside it is unprotected and can rot, the lines dont hold up as
long.

	Brake fluid is a rubber lubricant and wont hurt the rubber.  Be
careful as its a good paint stripper
	too.\
