John, The left throttle rod length is given as 342 +/- 0.5 mm, which I guess is the one that's loosened. There is also a double ball-socket ended rod (replaced by a screw adjuster on later Solex 32PDSIT?) that my 1965 Factory manual gives the length socket-centre to centre as 99 +/- 0.2 mm. That's pretty tight tolerance! The balance pipe rubber I believe is 10mm id, but I have used 3/8" airline rubber hose pieces before now. Dave.
