Kate, Keep looking. They're out there. Todays fuses, that is the body of the fuse, are made of plastic, whereas the older (original) were made of ceramic...I belive. Around here there are many FLAPS that carry VW, not German type car, fuses...even at the 8 & 16 amp ratings.
