A small amount of condensed oil vapor will almost always be found in the vac modulator hose, especially in colder climates. If the oil that runs out is clearly red, then it is ATF and could only have come past a leaky vacuum modulator diaphram. At this point you need to ask how fast it is leaking. If there are just a few drops in the hose each time you open it up and you never notice the need to add ATF to the AT, then it is not worth worrying about. OTOH, if you have to add ATF to the AT all the time, and your exhaust is always smoky because of all the ATF you are sucking into the intake air distributor and into the engine to burn, then you need to replace it. At about this same point the VM will work so poorly that your AT never seems to upshift or downshift properly. In between these two extremes it's your call.
