The safest way to do it is to tear down the type 1 to the longblock and replace them with the T3 counterparts. If you have an IRS tranny your case will need to have the threaded holes for the crossmember! Intake system is going to be a pain in the ass. i used a weird adapter manifold on mine. it allowed me to put on a progressive weber using the stock FI air runners. it sticks above the engine cover, but i was on the road. maybe the single port intake manifold will fit over the cylinder tin? the duals don't. Which ever way you go its going to be alot of work.
