Re: [T3] oil drain plug

Kate=> I'm trying to do an oil change for the first time! ... but
=> there's a concave sort of thing there, almost like you'd need a 21mm
=> ALLEN wrench to turn anything. What's up?

The plug you're looking at is the main drain plug for the transaxle. The
plug you're looking for is usually about a foot and a half toward the
rear of the car from there.

If you have a later model car or your engine was built by one of the few
particularly peevish mechanics who hate drain plugs, you may not have an
oil drain plug per se, in which case you just undo the six 10mm nutss
set in a ring around the center of the bottom of the engine case. You'll
need to do this anyway to get at the oil screen, it's just a little
messier with the oil in.

Good luck, and enjoy!
