Hi there! Sorry to hear about your clutch mess. You don«t say what model or year of machinery, but I think this part looks the same on all models. On the outer side of the arm that connects to the clutch wire (outside the tranny house) you can (after pecked away all the dirt on it) find a Seeger lock ring, which can be removed with an appropriate plier, or wiggled off with a pair of screwdrivers. Mark up the arms position on the axle with a marker or punch some corresponding marks on arm and axle. Then you have the next nasty task, getting the arm off the splines. Use a puller - don«t bend or knock it off. Could damage the housing. A heating gun will help loosing things up. When you got the arm pulled off, you can move the fork axle sideways and take it out. I dont remember exactly if you have to knock the bushings out of the housing, but thats easy if needed. Yours were shot , anyway, right? Examine the fork carefully so that the two arms that holds the bearing isn«t damaged or worn. If so, replace the whole part. Assemble the stuff in reverse order. Good luck! ,,,, (o o) ----------oOOo-(_)-oOOo----------- Karl-Olov Sandin ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
