I suppose the fuel damper could smooth out pulses in the fuel flow, but the pump is a rotor type, so I wouldn't expect it to suffer from major pulses. Maybe it helps if air gets pumped, by breaking up the bubble so it doesn't go along the pipe as one big bubble. Dave.
