Well, with no apparent changes, the #4 injector is now firing. It could be an intermittent connection in the wiring harness right near the plug. Fortunately, we have another '71 Squareback for parts so I think I'll redo the connectors from that car and graft them into this car sometime. Now for the question - the injector plugs are designed to only fit in one way. They have cuts on two corners of the plugs and the original injector had indentations on two side. Pretty easy to figure out. But, the new injectors we have, have no such indentations on them so the plugs can go in either way. Does it really matter which way these plugs go into the injectors?
