Yeah I'm a newbie .What about it? I sent in a question a couple of weeks back about the Muir idiot manual. It talks about a Ford relay switch you can get to give the starter direct juice from the battery.Well, needless to say I never saw my question or the answer. Is there a way I can look into back issues or could you run the question again? I've got a 65 squareback that I found in a garage in N.Y. The original VW oil Change coupons were in it, first four were stamped by a dealer in Germany so apparently it was shipped over here at a later date.Original Dual carbs are still on , 6 voltsystem seems to be in good shape. Opened up the motor because of a broken plastic stem from the fuel pump had fallen in. Found original VW domed pistons. First time I've seen them so I want to get this thing fired up and check it out. Well, thanks again for the info and this time I'll watch my Mail closer.
