Agreed, for decent traction conditions- But James, drive in the snow! Or any conditions where the limit of adhesion goes down to .2g or less. THAT'S where FWD wins. And that's why hillclimbers and dirt-track hill scramblers run 4WD- it's even better. And ice-racers run little FWD's.
