Sit in the driver's seat with a long, flat-bladed screwdriver. Put the tip of the screwdriver between the shift tunnel and the seat so it presses on the seat rail. You want the tip to be about 2" or 3" in from the front of the seat rail. There is a single metal leaf spring that keeps the seat from moving forward and off the rail. By pushing down on the spring and scooting the seat forward the seat will slide over the spring. Then get behind the seat and push it all the way forward and off its rails. Just make sure the carpet isn't in the way of the seats rail otherwise it will keep the seat from going forward and forcing it just rips the carpet (Bigger Hammer Theory, trust me, it don't work). The passenger side is the same but the spring is on the left side (tunnel side, again). Hope this diagram helps... <-- Front ____ ___/ | <-- The spring in up position --/--------|--------- <-- Seat rail closest to tunnel | | <-- Screwdriver pushing on spring | ______V_ <-- The spring in down position --/--------\--------- <-- Push seat in this direction <-- Be sure to view this in a fixed font such as Courier.
