RE: [T3] The Virgin

Hi, Donovan. I'm James, a neo-virgin on the list (I've only had a T3 since
February). I've owned many T1's, and even a big Camper (Savannah? I can't
remember the real name; it was a 1976 w/sunroof), though, so air-cooling is
in my blood. These guys are a real, true wealth of information. After I
test drove my 71 manual FI square, I opened the 'hood' and saw the snake
basket, and my heart fell. Fuel injection. How could they do this to me?

Long story short, these guys (and gals) talked me down out of the
clock-tower, and now my FI is up and going strong, and I wouldn't go back
(at least not on my daily driver; I've got FB dreams, though, Delortos; or
Webers, maybe?). FI is great, and the system is cake, once you're familiar
with it. Let the pro's tell you, though.
