Karmann Konnection and German Car Company both deal with West Coast
Metric, who can supply these clips.  You should be able to use the
plastic ones, though you probably had the metal ones fitted as
original.  They are not all that cheap; worth picking up any you
find and re-using them!

You can reclaim plastic ones (from a scrap-yard eg) by gripping them
firmly with pliers and pulling straight off.  Then push out the peg
that spreads the feet out.  If you can get to the back of the panel
to collect the peg, push it out first.
