There's a new page on Type 3 History on my website; it's mostly from
UK brochures, so doesn't necessarily include all options available
worldwide.

Euro blades are the square section ones and are standard here from
Aug '69.  The only change in these was a cut away corner on the
front bumper from Aug '71.  Don't know why for certain, but suspect
they fitted the KG better than square sided ones.  It also meant the
rubbers were then the same front and back.  It's something for the
concours judges to watch, but the rest of us probably don't worry
much!
