Hi All Well hate to do it but financial need dictates that one of my cars must go. I put it off as long as possible but I must make a pinful decision. I will be keeping my 76 Spitfire and my 69 Fastback (in storage at mommys house) but I must let go of my 71 Fastback. I have had this car the longest and a great deal of thought has occured in my noggin, but as Im loosing sacred garage space ( mom says she needs the space) I am letting my Fasty go to one of you listees. I wouldnt dream of letting just any ole schmoe have it. Pics can be found at: http://www.inform.umd.edu/ARHU/Depts/Art/gradstudents/grad95/Clift.htm I may let the Spifire go so I can concentrate on the 69 Fastback. But I have made this decision so that I mat finance the resurrection of my Fasty in storage, clean but hasnt been run in four or so years and I will ned to have it gone through before I drive it here to Maryland. So anyone interested please let me know at: jclift#deans.umd.edu This car runs very well, new Sewfine carpet last year, 10K on new motor, 29 K on new tranny, and still has original california plates that were issued to it in 1971 and also still has the original license plate frames from the dealer who sold it, Wes Lasher VW. Also has an 8 track player. Havent thought of a price, always so hard to do with a car Ive owned 11 years. So snatch it up. I and the car are located in College Park MD John ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
