Re: [T3] just brought home a project car.

Alright following this and the other tip I recieved on the location of the
ECU, I went out and looked again in the fender.. the extra transmission
which I had set in there was right in front of the hole which explains why
I missed it.. and found the wire which the ECU used to hook up to, neatly
snipped off. So either the PO(whom I'm trying to catch while he's around
so that I can get the title, pay him, and grill him on the current
location of the ECU) cut it out, or somebody saw the car sitting out
there, and took it. Did I overlook something, or shouldn't it have been
fairly easy to just remove the whole wiring system rather than just
cutting it off? I'm a college student with limited income right now, and
between paying off my classes and paying off the squareback I'm left with
very little spending money, hence the reason why I was hoping that
somebody would tell me I could wander into a wrecking yard and pull the
stuff required to switch over to carbs for really cheap, rather than drop
$100+ on a ECU(and it seems I need the wiring for the fuel injection
also). Jim how much would you want for one of your ECUs? I suppose the
best surprise I've had related to the car yet is that my finger which I
smashed, is basically back to it's normal color.
