OK Ive finally gotten around to asking this... to those with May 72 and newer cars with the late seats Get in one of the front seats, grab the lever and recline! did it go back a little and THUNK... or are you in the back seat staring at the headliner??? my old 73 reclined almost flat but when I tried Jims it didn't. Was mine broken or a rare German Option?? it was the one redeeming quality of the newer seats but if mine were the only ones... and of course I junked mine years ago! I remember getting in the older ones on my 71, I sat higher, firmer, and they seem to hold up better than the newer ones. The ones in my Opel are so bad I feel like I'm being violated every time I sit in them!!!
