Re:shox valves rpms(not sure if this is repeated)

I'm not sure exactly what kind of carb it is...I do know it is a progressive.
Anyways, yesterday I started to hear a tock tock tock sound in the engine.  I
figured it had something to do with the valves( don't ask why).  Anyways, I
started to go about adjusting it per muir....I put it in firing position
1...adjusted the valves to .006...rotated 180 degrees and started to adjust
the one on the inside( never can remember which that is)  when I tried to
stick the feeler blade in it would not go.  I went all the way down to .002
and it still won't go in. Whats going on?
