I did the install on my '69 Beetle years ago. Relatively easy, if you
take your time, measure side to side and front to back, have plenty of
tools (spring loaded clamps, tools for removing and replacing your glass
and seals) and adhesives around (3M spray, RTV, etc) as well as cold
beer, that way you can do it without having to abandon the project to
resupply. Just procede slowly, don't rush the glue and it'll be a
breeze. Yes, the windows had to come out but if you take the windows out
carefully you shouldn't damage any of them and yes, the pillar pieces
came with it, but were in one piece and had to be cut to fit.
