Well... I had the alignment done.. Spent 4 hours with the guy on his Hunter machine (boy their nice!) messing with things.. Im still not happy with the caster! Shoving a 6mm shim behind the rubber collar increases the caster by .4deg **diddley squat!** probably due to the fact that the rubber squashes out some but it will need something much thicker for the 2deg correction I want but thats for another time and the rest of it spec'd out just fine. A word on wiring... If its original and you just cant figure out where that wire went look at its color... it will tell you all you kneed to know. the early diagrams dont even need color as you can look at the late ones to get the codes you need for 95% of the circuits. That being said.. for that 5%: Does anyone have an unmolested 65? Ther Garage position on the ignition switch has a circuit all its own that is only energized in the garage position with a wire to its own fuse on the fuse box. What did this circuit originally feed?? the circuit on mine dead ends at the fuse. thanks! Keith parkkj@crd.ge.com
