Some people swear by the fiberglass kick panel speaker mounts,
("fiberglass inovations" makes them for T3 and T1 ~$50 US) but i like to
drive with my left foot planted on that area, so they wouldn't work for
my. My car's PO put the 5,1/4in speakers in the panels next to back seat,
looks good, but i only here the right side speaker well because the left
is behind me.
If I was to choose I'd put the speakers in a SB hinge cover made to accept
5,1/4in speakers, {they even come with mounting for the rear "dome"
light!} once again fiberglass innovations makes these but i've heard bad
things from somebody on the T3 list about the fit and finish of the unit.
anybody else have experience w/ the fiberglass innovations hinge covers?
