Oil Pressure Question

I have a question for all you fine VW folks...

This past weekend I changed the oil in my 69 square to 10W-30 Castrol
SynTec (fully synthetic)...it made a big difference in my motorcycle and my
superbeetle, so I thought I;d try it in the new square, too.  The car runs
great, but after driving it for a while I get a slightly pulsing oil
pressure light at idle (when at red lights, etc.).  Keep in mind that this
is an automatic and the transmission wants to pull the car forward a bit at
stops (as with any automatic car), so holding the break holds back the
engine just a bit.  Should I be worried?  I haven't had a chance to do a
compression check on this engine yet, so I really hope I don't have any
blowby or anything like that...
