No one recommends the one carb setup, it is only a hundred or so dollars less than dual carb setup. Try Fast Freddie's (he's in VW trends) and they have a few DCNF type III kits left with a wide range of carb sizes. I bought my kit with dual 44's (my engine is a 1914) but you can go smaller. CB performance also has kits available. I recommend choosing the dual setup, it'll save money in the long run. I also have my original single bbl carb setup if you want it, or my local parts guy has a pair of one bbl dellorto's for sale cheap. the first set (mine) are for single port and I'd give to you for postage. The second set are for dual port and are really clean. See ya! Nathaniel Miller '66 squareback '75 beetle P.S. I don't think anyone should beat you for exploring your options! _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
