New Beetle

Hi,
Cool news on the New Beetle. Is that going to be the official name? What 
happens when it's not new anymore? 
I got a nice brochure from VW in the mail. hmm, need to get one to live 
next to my Fastback.
I havent yet seen one in person, but 
Ive heard its a ways fron the dash to the base of the windshield. I hope 
it's not like that GM van, what's it called, Trans Sport or something. 
(the one that looks like a dustbuster). I bet if you dropped your pencil on 
that dash you'd NEVER get it back.
On the type three front. 
Would a leaky, even barely leaky, fuel injector hose cause performance probs?
Im gonna fix it to be sure but just asking.
Im also looking for paint shops in the DC area that have experience 
painting VW's. I wanna get mine painted the original Kansas Beige as soon 
as I get some quality window rubber.
Plus I still have that pesky 'bucking' feel on acceleration, but only 
after it's warmed up.
Anyone going to the VW showon the April 18th? in Monrovia MD. I went once 
last year, nice gathering, but short on venders. Cant have enough VW toys 
you know.
