I can't verify the bulb number, the ones I use are 795 bulbs and since the bulb
numbers are universal between  companies (i.e. and 1156 is just that weather
Sylvania or Hella makes it) I would say the ones you are looking at are not the same
as I as speaking of...they should only be $6-8.00 a piece and they ARE NOT a
replacement bulb, they just happen to have the same base as the 1156.  I'm thinking
the ones you are looking at are the same as you get at Pep Boys and such...those are
a smaller bulb with an adaptive base, partially made of some plastic material that
DOES melt (been there, done that).  Make sure the base in the bulbs you are buying
are all metal.  Just ask them for a 795 bulb.
