Hey everyone, I knew I could find these if I looked a little. Regarding
the 50W halogens with the bayonet bases: I think these are the ones-I
just need someone to verify the bulb #'s to make sure they are the right
ones (read *pricey*). There is a Public Safety supply company called
Galls located in Kentucky that has this ad in their latest catalog
"High intensity back up bulbs, Galls has sold thousands of these back up
bulbs. 50W of halogen light increases backing visibility and depth
perception. They replace bulbs #1156, #1073, #1076, #1141 and most
bayonet bulbs in over 90% of vehicles. Suggested List $12.75, #J-BU120
$10.99 ea.". The 1-800# for Galls is 1-800-477-7766, the web-site is
"www.gallsinc.com". They will send you a free catalog just for the
asking. They sell alot of products to police and fire, but also a lot of
very handy everyday items. If anyone can verify these replacement bulb
#'s, these bulbs will probably do the trick.
