T3: The new Beetles are here

	Yesterday afternoon (3-15) my family & myself went to the VW
dealer in town to see if the new Beetle had arrived & indeed it had. It
was very low-keyed, no announcements in the papers or local news reports.
Word of mouth must of spread because there were many others checking it
out, almost a steady procession. The one on display, a red one, was
inside the showroom so viewing was quite limited, as the dealer was not
open. I found them much more appealing in person than in pictures. Can't
wait to drive one, but I'd say that will be long in coming since the ones
coming in right now are probably already sold.
