Keith Park writ: + + Halogen bulbs draw LESS power than the regular ones. So the watts that my halogens are rated with are different from the watts that silly-beams use? Less wattage consumed per lumen output, though. The point behind upgrading the generator though, is that with H4 lights, you probably won't stick with the 55/65w bulb they're boxed with. (Silly-beams are 50/60 or so too, so you won't notice a difference powering the H4 upgrades) You can buy H4 bulbs in any flavor from vanilla 55/60w through tangy 80/100w to stoopid 100/160w. (Aside: saw a car once with 100/160w H4 headlights, and 100w H3 driving lamps.. Yeah, 520 watts with the high-beams up. You could turn off streetlights with it.) -- Geoff Melnychuk -=-=-=- http://www.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/~geoffrey _-~-_-~-_-~-\ | gpmelnyc@acs.ucalgary.ca Volkswagen-driving, Beagle-dog-hugging, | | geoffrey@cpsc.ucalgary.ca Bass-playing, Beer-brewing, Lurking nerd. | \._.^`'~*-,._.^`'~*-,._.^`'~*-,._.^`'~*-,._.^`'~*-,._.^`'~*-,._.^`fnord._./
