I have had the worst of experiences with unscrupulous (read greedy) mechanics, it can be a real drag. There are several setups for Harley riders where you can toss your name into a file where you agree to lend a hand, or tools, or a short term garage space to a fellow rider. In turn, when it's your time of need, you can call a number and they'll get you in touch with someone locally who'll do the same for you until you get back on the road. Nothing contractual, just an understanding that you'll give as well as take for your mates. Maybe we could set up something similar for listees? Just a thought...
