Just for a real-life example of the savings the Tire Rack offers, I used to have a '66 Mercury Comet that I changed the stock 14-inch rims & tires to 15 inchers on. I wanted to use BF Goodrich T/A's, so I started calling around for prices. The nearest place I could find - 45 miles away in Parkersburg, WV (I was in Athens, Ohio at the time) Montgomery Wards wanted $125.00 Per tire for a 205/60-15. Up north, 65 miles away in Columbus, Ohio, I could get the same tire for $100.00 at Tire America. I called the Tire Rack and they quoted me a price of $69.00 per tire. They UPSed them to me the next day. I just had to have them mounted and balanced locally, cost me around $6.00 per tire. Big savings to be had, even more if your buddy works at the local gas station with a tire machine. Jake Kooser
