finally stopped the leaking - it was the windshield seal. Paid $50 to have a pro install my cal look rubber (Bugpack/Dee Engineering). There was only a little surface rust under the old seal. Looks pretty good now, though I think I'll have to try and push the lower corners of the seal out a bit after it has settled for a couple of weeks - if it were any 'tighter', it'd be too tight. Now it seems like my alternator isn't working.... Sonny '69 Square Auto
