GusG=> I have a 1966 T3 Ghia and I'm looking for some parts: => - Passenger window I'll be parting one out over the summer if you're willing to wait. It's on the other side of the country from me now, unfortunately. => - Crome tirm for the door runner. Driver & Passenger side The Holy Grail of T3 Ghia parts. Later T3 side chrome will substitute, though it's a couple of inches longer. => - Emblems (I need the front nose VW emblem and => the Karmann Ghia Script for the back) Both are available from Rocky Mountain Motorworks. The KG script is standard for most KG models (you'll notice it has a 343 part number, so we got it first!), and the nose emblem is the same as a T14 Ghia's without the plastic base. => Will a Window from a Type 1 Ghia fit???? Also will the trim from a => Type 1 Ghia fit the runner? No and no. As a new T34 owner, your best resource is the VW Type 34 Karmann Ghia Registry. For introductory info, point your browser at www.type34.org. You may also contact me directly for T34-specific info, which just makes the rest of the T3 people jealous. ;) Above all, don't panic. You've got a great car and you really *can* finish it. Steven Ayres, Prescott AZ Southwest USA Rep, VW T34 KG Registry '66 KGhia 1600 (doing interior work today)
