Hello, I recently purchased a 1969 fuel injected squareback. The owmer beleived that it had transmission problems and the car had been sitting for about a year. I purchased the car for $600. It has rust only under the battery and is fairly straight (only a few small dings in the passenger door). After getting it home (trailer), I bolted the engine to the transmission (seems the tranny problem was it wasn't connected) put a battery in it added a little quick start and it started, and promptly put the petal to the metal with no resistance. It seems the thottle cable was disconnected and the spring was disconnected as well. I turned to Haynes and can find no picture of how the throttle should be connected to the fuel injection. I am not sure if all the parts are even there to connect the cable and spring to. Anyone have a shot they can send me or know where I can get this information? Also anyone have an idea on the value of the car once it runs? Bill Shaw
