Fuel in crankcase

I just took a closer look at the fastback over lunch. It's definitely not a
fuel pump diaphragm, because the fuel pump is electric and up front.

I'm still at a loss as to what sort of problem would cause somebody to
remove the fuel injectors and starter, as well as how the fuel got there.

I guess the next step is to reinstall the starter, change the oil, and crank
it to make sure the oil light goes off.
