Mostly true, but the pumphead o-rings really were round in
cross-section, they've just been compressed for so long they became
square.  I think I may have a local source for metric o-rings, I'm
going to see if I can come up with a replacement.

All my defective pumps have leaked at the joint with the body, this is
crimped and would be very hard to take apart and get back together.  I
think it's because they use MTBE in the gas in winter here, tends to
eat older-type seals.  All the leakers were off wrecks, a rebuilt has
stood up for 2 years to it(knock on wood).
