it really depends where the pump is leaking from- I successfully repaired a leaky one not to long ago- It the leak is coming from the valve thingy (offshoot near the return inlet) then I have no clue, but for leaks around the cap then here goes.... the fuel pump is 3 peices when you take off the 4 screws on top. the lid, with all the hoses, a small ring 1/4" thinck with an offset hole, and the main motor goodness. there is a seal in the lid and one in the ring- both are like o-rings only they have a scquare cross section. When you take it apart, make sure you mark both the placement and orientation of the ring- youll have a mess if you dont. I Know. when I got mine apart,i cleaned it up real good, then I got some permatex- number 2, I think. the goopy stuff. I removed the seals, coated them, put them back in. Mine were really nasty and strethed pretty bad- i had to cut 1/2 inch to get it back in. put another generous layer of permatex, let it set for 10 minutes, then reassembled. perfect! have fun--!! -rj
