Tweaking on the pressure sensor is the very LAST thing to do!.  If you
are fortunate to have the proper test gear and knowledge you can get
away with it, but most haven't access to such.  I ended up replacing
mine because the PO  couldn't keep his screwdriver off that
adjustment, I was getting 5 MPG!  My idle was hunting too, I cured it
by tracking down all the air leaks and replacing seals and hoses,
replacing a sticky auxilary air regulator and proper idle adjustment.
If you start messing with the factory adjustment, you'll have dim
prospects of getting it back to factory standards without some fairly
hefty-priced equipment.
