RE: Shipping stuff


I had to send my tranny back to the builder (and I must say most automotive
mechanics are the most optimistic, customer insensitive, fricken liars on
this
planet...), the cost was about $75 for 93 pounds. and I packed it in its
original cardboard box stuffed with newspaper.  $2000 insurance made the
total
$96.  shipped UPS as the US Post Office doesn't handle packages over 75
pounds.

When I had my engine built it came securely shipped in a wooden box and cost
about $200, Tennessee to Oregon.
